Mini Review Album Perfume Level3 Versi Indonesia

XBOX One vs PS4

This one could be one of the main decisions to be made for our gaming life in the near future. One thing that struck me is that I'm not American so I can state different arguments for choosing between this two great upcoming consoles. So what's the pros and cons of these two next-gen consoles?

Both will have 8 cores of CPU, 8 GB of RAMs, and a lot of similar features taking advantages of the huge technology leaps.

Playstation 4

Pros

  • Integrated Playstation Move and touchpad into the DualShock and Playstation Eye
  • Suspend and resume game/console capability with a touch of button (just like smartphone devices)
  • Capability to stream your gaming session without leaving your session
  • Lots of supports from AAA game companies
Cons
  • No native PS3 backward compatibility
  • No voice command like Xbox One
  • No snap mode like the Xbox One
XBOX One

Pros
  • Voice command, just say "Xbox on" and it will turn on
  • Improved Kinect, to the extent it will sense your heartbeat
  • Windows 8 like snap mode — use two applications at the same time
  • Lot of exclusive titles from EA and Microsoft game studios
  • Perfect for all-in-one home entertainment system with features it offers
Cons
  • Voice command will be useless for non English speaking players
  • You need to connect to the internet once every 24 hours to play Xbox games
  • Cannot trade used games offline (however it can be traded online, says Microsoft)
  • No touchpad on the controller
  • Xbox One Live TV only available in US
  • Individual games will be tied to only one Xbox Live account, meaning you cannot even play your games on another console in the same house with different account.
  • No support for indie developers
What's your choice? Personally I'm going for PS4 since I'm a PS guy and I prefer Dualshock 4 over Xbox controller. And lots of Xbox features are a dealbreaker. I'd prefer my PS3 over Xbox One (no that's not a type). And a lot of PS exclusives are my favorites, like Gran Turismo series.

Busy Days

Japanese Summer Festival at Monumen Nasional, Jakarta
I have been busy with everything lately. I got a lot of things to do, mostly things I have passion for. Those are important because we get to do what we like so we don't waste our time without happiness. What I'm talking here is that a lot of people don't enjoy their jobs, they do it because other people told them to do it, or maybe just taking the 'safe' route to their life. If you are one of them, I really advise you to try to get out of it. Try to live a better life by doing what has become your passion, and believe that whatever you do, if not going to bring you a lot of money, will bring you a lot of happiness, and that is a lot more important. I remembered one good quote I've heard some time ago: Live your own life, not others

Another thing is I do not mind being busy all the time because we have to make the most of our life while we can, and personally I'd like to contribute as much as I can to this world so I have no regrets in the end.

Space Oddity Chris Hadfield Version Lyrics

Cmdr. Hadfield singing Space Oddity onboard International Space Station

I noticed that Commander Hadfield's revised version of Space Oddity originally sung by David Bowie has gone through a bit lyrics revision to fit more with the International Space Station.

Looking at the future of humanity

These days I've been exposed to a lot of things let's say, futuristic. I've been looking at Chris Hadfield's Space Oddity music video over and over again. I have just watched the latest J.J. Abrams' movie Star Trek Into Darkness. All of it gives me a distant thoughts and reflection over myself of what am I doing and what am I going to do as a part of living universe in this world. I believe we all have a great destiny in the future waiting upon us. Should you say there are people destined to be unlucky or suffer, I think there's a reason for everything. There are a reason to unreasonable things that occurs in this infinite universe. We just don't have the power to understand all those things that happens, and sometimes we won't need those unnecessary knowledge.

Is this what PS4 looks like?

PS4 leak console form factor

I'm excited about PS4. I'm sure you do, too. But lately Sony has plant a sheer curiosity into our mind of what Playstation 4 console looks like. Today there's a trailer claimed as "leak" of a next generation console teaser. This form factor is quite nice. Actually it will fit well alongside your blu-ray or DVD player and could be put as a stack on top of your other players.

Google Chrome Version Surprise

I am really surprised on how Google intensely updates their products. One of their main product, a web browser Chrome is automatically updating each time Google pushes a new update and most of us wouldn't notice it.

What's surprising is I did check the version today out of curiosity and it is on version 26! It is indeed surprising. The well known browser in the market as we know, Internet Explorer, who has been there long before the Chrome did, only get into Internet Explorer 10, up until now. It could be that Google uses a different method to do versioning of their products or other reasons. But it's amazing to know that Google keeps improving our browsing experience, and as for now, is my default browser on my computers and tablet except my outdated Android Gingerbread device.

Yes I know that Google Chrome do a heavy tracking on how you use and behave on the internet through the browser. And a lot of people thinks that those are breaching their privacy. But I really don't care. I get an awful lot more advantage from their free and well working products instead of hating and using less powerful products there out in the market.

What browser do you use nowadays?
